Christian stories for children that are narrative in style often help children relate to the characters. Many Bible stories read straight from the Bible are narrative in nature. Genesis is a perfect example.

These christian stories for children are narrative in style. It has 88 simple Bible lessons that teach foundational doctrine for children. I have read this to all of my children several times. We have also used as a Children’s Sunday school curriculum for 3-6 year olds. This is a favourite of mine. We have used it for Sunday School lessons as well.

This is a visual timeline. Every time I show this to my friends they are writing the name down so they can get one themselves. Not sure about the post resurrection doctrine but the timeline of the Old Testament to Jesus pictures are incredible.

Christian Biographies Suitable for Children
Hero Tales Volumes 1-4 by Dave and Neta Jackson
Brief biographies and snippets from the life of many contemporary and historical Christian hero. After each story there is a short devotion on character.20 hero’s are covered in each book.We also use these books in our sunday school.
* These authors also write fictional stories based on these heroes. My kids have enjoyed many of them.

A Dutch Christian smuggles Bibles behind the iron curtain. Incredible miracles
An African boy from Zimbabwe is rejected by his family and becomes a gang member,(this is upsetting for young children). God’s mercy and the the power of prayer shine through in this story.

Probably suitable for high school.
